How Guidance Supports Students
Social-emotional development is an important part of our school community. It is reflected in our core values—respect, grow, and engage—and supported through classroom activities, community-building, and our anti-bullying program.
Guidance and school psychology staff work with students in a variety of ways:
- Supporting students in the classroom when behavioral or social challenges arise
- Consulting with teachers and families about student well-being
- Helping students develop skills in peer relationships, coping strategies, and emotional regulation
- Meeting with students individually or in small groups to practice cooperation and problem-solving
Through direct instruction, modeling, and real-life experiences, we aim to help all students grow into confident, caring, and well-adjusted individuals.
