What Is a Science Fair?
A science fair is an opportunity for students to explore a question, conduct research or experiments, and present their findings to the community. Students share their work visually and verbally, building confidence and curiosity through hands-on learning.
The event also includes a science activity expo where students can interact with exciting technologies, devices, and real-world scientists.
Goals of the Science Fair
- Apply the scientific method
- Develop curiosity about how things work
- Understand how science connects to the real world
- Promote awareness and appreciation of science
What Makes a Strong Project?
- Choose a question you’re genuinely interested in
- Design your own experiment, model, or solution
- Do the work independently, with minimal help
- Use creativity and everyday materials
- Let your project lead to new questions and ideas
